This is a popular recipe that I got from Freelee the Banana Girl and absolutely loved it. I hope to try more of her recipes soon. Let me know if you loved it as much as I did.

Ingredients:

  • 1  ½  cups of oats
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup plant-based milk
Recommended add-ins:
  • honey/agave nectar/dates (to sweeten)
  • cinnamon
  • chocolate sauce (used my own recipe)
  • maple syrup
  • fruit of choice

Lets get cooking…

  1. Place the oats into your blender and blend until it becomes a flour consistency.
  2. Add the banana and the milk and blend until it becomes a smooth batter.
  3. OPTIONAL: if you find that the batter isn’t sweet enough, add a sweetener of your choice (honey/agave nectar/dates). I also added cinnamon to my batter.
  4. Preheat a non-stick pan on a low-medium heat. You may also want to grease your pan if it is not a non-stick pan.
  5. Once the pan has heated, pour an equal amount of batter into the pan.
  6. Allow the pancakes to cook until bubbles appear around the edges, then flip the pancakes and cook until golden.
  7. Your pancakes are ready to be eaten, just add chocolate sauce or maple syrup. ENJOY!!!
